Membership information for 2026

The SCCA was established with two main goals—to foster a spirit of friendship among neighbors and to keep our neighborhood’s common areas in beautiful shape through landscaping projects.

Our other common areas—the marquee, the bridges and some corners—are maintained thru the dedicated work of volunteers and coordinated by our Beautification Committee. Our Social Committee is busy planning events with various local establishments so that our members can get together and socialize.

Join the SCCA or renew your membership by filling out the downloadable pdf below.

You may mail the completed form with a check to the listed address.

You will also find a link to PayPal for your convenience.

Know Your Zone

Preparedness | Monroe County, FL - Official Website (https://www.monroecounty-fl.gov/897/Evacuation-Information)

Monroe County has a comprehensive plan that calls for the phased evacuation with five zones from MM 0 to Ocean Reef.  The plan is intended to avoid unnecessary evacuation of some zones that are to be affected and others not.

NOTE:  Evacuation zones are different from re-entry zones after a hurricane.

Zone 1: MM 0 to MM 6

Zone 2: MM 6 to MM 40

Zone 3: MM60 to MM 63

Zone 4: MM 63 to the three ways stop at County Road 905-A

Zone5: County Road 905-A to mainland Monroe, including Ocean Reef.

Re-entry stickers get you back into the Keys after the storm has passed.  The color sticker goes on the lower corner of the driver's side windshield; denotes where a Monroe County resident lives.  This assists the Sheriff's deputies manning the entry checkpoints that you are legit and have a reason to return.  The stickers can be obtained at the Monroe Tax Collectors office. When you go to obtain the sticker, bring proof of residency such as a Fl driver's license and vehicle registration.  Out of county residents who have a home in the Keys can show a property tax bill to get a sticker for their vehicle.

Don't forget to think about preparing for your pets. Pets have to rely on you so think ahead.  There's legislation in place mandating space for animals at shelters.

Some things to think about before a storm:  Micro-chip your pet.  Consider a harness or leash for your cat.  Have an evacuation pack for your pet with the essentials ready to go.

Evacuation becomes mandatory for everyone.
